Brentsville Hall is an event space in Manassass Virginia that is spacious and modern, and also warm and inviting. Their events coordinator is top notch, attentive, and focused on keeping events on schedule. I’ve been hoping to DJ a wedding there for a while, and in December 2022 I got my opportunity, thanks to Jess and Meagan. The couple found me through my listing on The Knot. For their ceremony, the outdoor patio was used. The day was a bit overcast, but the area is covered, so no worries about guests getting rained on. Plus, the venue put outdoor heaters along the patio. For a December wedding outdoors, it was actually quite comfortable. The guests then moved up to the second floor area for the cocktail hour before heading back down to the main floor for the reception. Brentsville Hall has a nice big space in the center of the main room for dancing, and the couple and their guests took full advantage. At the conclusion, the couple did the sparkler exit from the lobby to a blissful journey together as newlyweds! It was so nice to be a part of their day!
For this event, I provided in independent sound systems for both the ceremony on the patio and the reception in the banquet hall. I provided wireless clip-on mic’s for both the officiant and the groom for the ceremony, and a wireless handheld mic for speeches during the reception. I also provided dance floor lighting for the banquet hall. The venue has a very nice built-in uplighting setup, so I did not need to bring mine.
