Megan and Solomon brought me on board for their reception at the Hilton Garden Inn in Waldorf MD for a very lively celebration! The reception took place in the ballroom on the first level, with the cocktail area just outside. The Hotel provided an amazing buffet, and the staff was very helpful and professional. The couple’s playlist had a ‘movies and musicals’ theme to it, with selections from lots of Broadway shows, soundtracks, and Disney movies. Probably the highlight of the dancing came when the bridesmaids joined the bride for a rousing sing-a-long to “Defying Gravity” from the musical “Wicked.” They definitely blew the roof off the joint!
For this event I provided independent sound systems for the ballroom and the cocktail lounge, as well as a wireless microphone for toasts. I also provided uplighting and dance floor lighting for the event. The brides mother found me through my profile on Thumbtack.
