Suzanne and Matthew had actually gotten married a year earlier, and wanted to have their wedding ceremony and reception at that time. However, Covid got in the way! So they waited until Fall of 2022 so they could have the celebration they really wanted. So while nominally a vow renewal, it was every bit a great wedding and reception! I was so glad to be a part of it!
Rockwood Manor is a beautiful venue, too, especially for a Fall wedding! Nestled off of some winding roads in Potomac, it’s secluded and peaceful. They have a lovely outdoor area for ceremonies, with the indoor dining area adjacent to that. The area where we had dancing was split level, with plenty of room for cocktails and music. The staff is wonderful to work with as well. The couple had arranged for a fantastic buffet, with an array of exotic dishes. Hats off to their caterers!
